Moody's Investors Service affirms the A3 rating on the City of South Amboy. Concurrently, Moody's has removed the negative outlook on the city's GO rating. The A3 rating and removal of the negative outlook reflects the stabilization of the city's finances. Moody's stated that "the city's fnancial position should remain stable in the medium term as management has taken steps to improve city finances." This change will greatly enhance any bonding the city may have to do and save the taxpayers of South Amboy thousands of dollars.
