Middlesex Water Company has issued its Annual Drinking Water Quality Report to its customers in Carteret, Woodbridge, Metuchen, South Amboy and parts of Edison and South Plainfield. The report is being included as an insert with customers’ water bills and is also available on the Company’s website at www.middlesexwater.com under the heading “Customer Care”.
Foundation work has begun for construction of The Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center, a state-of-art facility which will combine the best of modem design and technology with an old world feel. It's February 29, 2012 Leap day, and 2011 was certainly an interesting year. We had a major snowstorm early in the year. We had Hurricane Irene later in the year. And finally, the longest storm we had come to a conclusion in December: the yearlong mayoral election. For those of you who may have missed it, the appellate court ruled three to nothing that I won the election. Remember that each vote, your vote, does count. But even with the election hanging over my head, I and my very capable staff of workers, volunteers, and elected officials were able to accomplish quite a bit.
